FOUR GAMES NEAR SELLOUTS
OU officials have announced the Missouri, Texas Tech and A&M games are virtual sellouts with only a few single tickets remaining for each of those contests. In addition, fewer than 300 tickets remain for the season opener against Tulsa on Sept. 3. The tickets available are those that were either unclaimed or returned by visiting teams.

TRANSFER JOINS SOONERS
Kellen Jones, a 6-1, 223-pound linebacker, has transferred from Michigan to Oklahoma and is eligible to play for the Sooners this season. Coach Stoops made the formal announcement today.

Oklahoma's third practice of the preseason began at 6:45 a.m. The players and coaches then headed under the stadium to greet young Sooner fans at Meet the Sooners Day from 10:30 a.m. until noon. OU-FSU ON COLLEGE GAMEDAY
Oklahoma will make its 26th overall appearance (No. 3 nationally) on ESPN's College Gameday September 17 when the Sooners play Florida State in Tallahassee. OU's last appearance on College Gameday was the 47-41 win in the 2010 Bedlam game.

Oklahoma will begin the 2011 season as the No. 1 team in the nation according to the preseason Coaches' Poll released by USA Today.
