NORMAN, Okla. -- Following a weekend series win to maintain its lead in the Big 12 standings, the Oklahoma Sooners returned to the top 10 in national rankings Monday.

Oklahoma (33-11, 10-5 Big 12) is ranked No. 10 in Collegiate Baseball News' poll, rejoining the benchmark spot after taking two of three games from Texas Tech with 8-0 and 6-2 wins Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The Sooners are also No. 12 in Baseball America's rankings and rose to No. 13 in the USA Today Division I Coaches Poll.

OU is 5-1 since head coach Sunny Golloway shuffled his batting order, notably moving former clean-up hitter Matt Oberste to leadoff.

The Sooners have batted .398 since the change with Oberste's .538 batting average and .600 on-base percentage leading the team. The junior ranks fifth nationally with a season batting average of .472 and is seventh with 73 hits.

Senior shortstop Jack Mayfield, who dropped from the leadoff to No. 9 in the order is .364 in the span. Mayfield, who had three home runs and 16 RBIs in OU's first 38 games, has three home runs and 11 RBIs in the last six contests.

Senior left fielder Max White is batting .476 as the clean-up hitter and half of his 10 hits going for extra bases.

Oklahoma visits Dallas Baptist (22-22, 9-9 WAC) for Tuesday's night game at the two-month old Horner Ballpark.

Toby Rowland and Ross Hubbard have the call on Sportstalk 1400 AM's coverage of the game. Pre-game show begins at 6 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
