NORMAN, Okla. - Sooner Sports TV will broadcast the OU Spring Game presented by U.S. Fleet Tracking on Saturday, April 13, live on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX College Sports. A full four hours of coverage will begin with a pregame show at noon from the Big Boomer BBQ. Jessica Coody will host alongside special guests Chuck Long, J.D. Runnels and Tony Casillas.

Kickoff for the game is slated for 2 p.m., with continuing coverage including postgame reaction airing until 4 p.m. (time permitting). Chad McKee and Joel Klatt will call the contest with commentary and analysis from Long, Runnels and Casillas. Additional coverage will also be available on SoonerSports.com and SoonerSports.TV.

Advance tickets are currently available for $10 online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office by calling (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-4668. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

The Sooner Sports Radio Network will begin its pregame show at 1 p.m. Toby Rowland will call the action with analysis from longtime OU Football assistant Merv Johnson. Chris Plank will provide reports from the sidelines while Dusty Dvoracek and Teddy Lehman provide additional analysis, including postgame interviews. The radio broadcast will also be available on Sirius 123 and XM 200.

Prior to the Spring Game, fans are invited to attend the second annual Big Boomer Barbeque, which will be held immediately north of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in the Brooks Street parking lot located near McCasland Field House.

A total of 1,000 tickets will be available for fans wishing to enjoy barbeque from several local vendors, plus chips and a beverage for only $10. No advance tickets will be sold. Vendors currently scheduled to participate include Head Country, Smokin' Okies, Rudy's and Homeland/Red River Ranch (cooked by Kingfisher Kookers). Gates will open for the Big Boomer Barbeque at 10 a.m. with food service beginning at noon.

The Big Boomer Barbeque also includes a number of free activities and events for the entire family. Banana Seat will once again provide live music, while amusement rides including Pirate's Revenge, Elephants, Apples, Hurricane and Castlemania will be available for all ages.

Fans will get the opportunity to meet their favorite Sooners players on Owen Field during a free 45-minute autograph session following the game. The autograph session will be available only to those fans who attend the game. No post-game-only access will be permitted.

All seating is general admission for the Spring Game. A Spring Game program will be available for purchase, as will stadium seats. The Gomer Jones Center will be open for medical care.

All normal game entry policies remain in place for the Spring Game relative to permitted items. Campus parking lots will be open and free of charge for fans attending the Spring Game.

Members of the Sooner Kids Club and children five and under will also be admitted free. For more information on joining the Sooners Kids Club, call (405) 325-6353 or view information online at SoonerSports.com. OU students also are admitted free of charge by showing a current OU ID at the gate.

Fans may enter the stadium at Gates 1, 5, 7 and 12. The Sooner Kids Club check-in is at Gate 5. Seating will be restricted to the lower deck with ADA seating available in the south end zone section.

Please note that due to construction, the area surrounding Gate 4 of the stadium will be closed for the Spring Game. Pedestrian traffic will not be able to pass through that area to get to Gate 5 from the Asp Avenue Parking Facility or from Gate 5 to get to the west side of the stadium. Pedestrian traffic will be diverted out to Asp Avenue to go around the Armory before coming back to the stadium. Fans should plan accordingly.

The Sooner Sports TV pregame show will broadcast live from the Big Boomer Barbeque, while Academy Sports and Chick-Fil-A will both be on premises along with the GoVision JumboTron. The Sooner Sports TV/FOX Sports promotion tent will be on site, as well. The Sooner Schooner and OU Spirit Squads are also slated to make appearances and the Sooner Jr. Kids Zone will also be part of the event.

In addition to the Big Boomer Barbeque, this year's OU Spring Merchandise Sale will begin at 8 a.m. in McCasland Field House prior to the OU Spring Football Game. The spring sale features numerous vendors. The OU Bookstore and other OU fan shops will be selling officially-licensed merchandise at discounted prices. The OU Equipment Room will also sell a variety of jerseys, equipment and furniture from the stadium suites that will include barstools, fabric chairs and wooden chairs.

Fans who shop at the OU Spring Sale before the game are encouraged to drop off purchases at their vehicles, as bags larger than 10" x 10" will not be permitted into the stadium.
