Oklahoma rallied from a 22-point deficit (51-29 with 16:52 remaining in second half) to set the Big 12 Tournament record for a comeback. OU had not rallied from larger than a 22-point deficit since it defeated California 86-75 on Dec. 13, 2008, when it trailed by 26 at halftime and set the NCAA record for largest comeback in regulation time. Oklahoma has advanced past the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Championship five straight seasons. The Sooners were 10 of 54 (.185) from 3-point range in three games against West Virginia in 2012-13. OU made eight 3-pointers per game and averaged 38 percent from beyond the arc this season. Oklahoma is 21-1 when it has a higher field goal percentage than its opponent and 18-1 when it holds an opponent to 40 percent or lower field goal shooting.
