McCoy Comes Up Big in Bucs' Win

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy was a menace in the first half in Tampa Bay's 41-28 win over Atlanta. The fourth-year lineman recorded four tackles and three sacks, all of which came in the first half as the Buccaneers won their second game in a row.

McCoy set the tone on the Falcons' first drive of the game, picking up back-to-back sacks on first and second down to set Atlanta back 14 yards.

He was back at it again in the second quarter, sacking Matt Ryan on third down to force a field goal.

The 3.0 sacks for McCoy were a career high, and according to Tampa Bay, he is the first Buccaneer to record a 3.0-sack game since another Sooner – Jimmy Wilkerson – did it on Oct. 11, 2009. McCoy is also the first Buccaneer defensive tackle to get 3.0 in one game since Warren Sapp did it against Detroit on Sept. 17, 2000.

Also for Tampa Bay, Davin Joseph started at right guard and helped open a hole on this 43-yard touchdown run and this three-yard score

Hartley Hits Game-Winner Again

For the second time this season, Garrett Hartley has delivered a game-winning kick with time expiring for New Orleans. After defeating Tampa Bay, 16-14, in week two with a 27-yard field goal, Hartley did it again in Week 11.

Hartley made all three of his field goal attempts in the fourth quarter, including a 31-yarder as the clock hit all zeroes to lift the Saints past San Francisco, 23-20.

Trailing 20-14, Hartley made a 21-yard field goal with 7:50 to play to cut the lead in half. He then tied the game up with a 42-yarder with 2:06 to play, setting up his later heroics.

Assisting Hartley in the win were wide receiver Kenny Stills, who caught one pass for 11 yards, and linebacker Curtis Lofton, who recorded six tackles.
