The #14 Foundation to Hold Food Drive

NORMAN, Okla. – Former University of Oklahoma quarterback and current co-offensive coordinator Josh Heupel's The #14 Foundation will hold its annual Holiday Food Drive prior to OU's game against Texas Tech on Saturday at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Cash donations will be accepted at the stadium gates. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.

The 2013 season marks a milestone year for The #14 Foundation as the Thanksgiving program is anticipated to surpass the 10,000 mark in terms of families fed since the campaign's inception in 2000. 

This marks the 14th year for the drive, which began while Heupel was quarterback at Oklahoma in 2000. The funds will be used to assist families in Ada, Ardmore, Enid, Kingfisher, Lawton, Norman, Oklahoma City, Sand Springs, Stillwater and Tulsa. It is anticipated that more than 35,000 meals will be generated by this year's project.
 
Joining The #14 Foundation as partners in the drive are OU Football, the Regional Food Bank, Kraft Foods, U.S. Foods and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
