GAME NOTES

• With the 34-19 win over Kansas, head coach Bob Stoops now has 155 career wins, putting him three away from breaking Oklahoma's all-time record held by Barry Switzer.

• Dating back to 2004, the Sooners have won 21 consecutive games immediately following a regular season loss.

• Oklahoma is 9-0 vs. Kansas under Stoops, including a 4-0 mark in Lawrence.

• The Sooners are 15-0 in games immediately following the Red River Rivalry under Stoops, including 7-0 vs. Kansas.

• Oklahoma is 124-6 under Stoops when scoring 30+ points, including 13 straight wins and an 8-0 mark vs. Kansas.

• OU has won 30 straight games when allowing 21 points or fewer dating back to 2009.

• Oklahoma led Kansas 18-13 at halftime. The Sooners are 137-9 all-time under Bob Stoops when leading at halftime, including a 5-0 mark this season.

 • The Sooners have won 38 consecutive games when leading at halftime.

• Oklahoma rushed for 235 yards, improving to 59-1 under Stoops when rushing for 200+ yards, including 31 straight wins.

• Kansas passed for only 16 yards, the lowest total allowed by OU since Arkansas threw for 13 yards in the Cotton Bowl (1/1/2002).

• The Oklahoma defense held Kansas to just one first down in the second half.

• The blocked punt by Matt Dimon was the first by Oklahoma since Corey Nelson did it against Texas A&M (11/6/10).

• The resulting safety off the blocked punt was the first recorded by OU since last year against Texas (10/13/12).

• DE Jordan Wade recorded a blocked extra point for the second week in a row. It was returned 98 yards by Aaron Colvin for a two-point defensive PAT.

• WR Durron Neal and DE P.L. Lindley both made the first starts of their respective careers.

BLAKE BELL
• QB Blake Bell threw for 131 yards on 15-25 passing with two touchdowns and one interception. It was his third career game with two or more touchdown passes.

• Bell now has eight career touchdown passes, all of which have come this season.

• Bell also rushed for 53 yards on 10 carries, including a season-long 27-yarder which surpassed a 17-yarder he had vs. TCU (10/5).

LACOLTAN BESTER
• WR Lacoltan Bester threw a 49-yard TD pass to fellow WR Sterling Shepard in the second quarter.

• It was the first TD pass by a non-QB since Mark Bradley threw a 17-yard TD pass to Mark Clayton vs. Oklahoma State (11/1/03).

• Bester was a quarterback at Kemper County High School. As a senior he completed 133-272 passes for 2,059 yards and 24 touchdowns.

STERLING SHEPARD
• WR Sterling Shepard finished with a game-high seven catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

• It was Shepard's second career two-touchdown game, also doing it against Tulsa (9/14/13).

 JAZ REYNOLDS
• WR Jaz Reynolds caught a 16-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, his first of the season and the sixth of his career.

• His last TD reception came against Texas A&M (11/5/11).

TREY MILLARD
• FB Trey Millard finished the game with three rushes for a season-high 34 yards, including a season-long 33-yard rush in the third quarter. He also added two receptions for 11 yards.

DAMIEN WILLIAMS
• RB Damien Williams rushed 15 times for a team-high 56 yards and one touchdown. It was his third rushing touchdown of the year and 14th of his career.

CHARLES TAPPER
• DE Charles Tapper had career-high 3.0 TFL and matched his career high in both tackles (6) and sacks (2.0).

• The 3.0 tackles for loss by Tapper were the most by an OU player since Frank Alexander had 3.5 at Baylor (11/19/11).

AARON COLVIN
• DB Aaron Colvin had a team-high eight tackles, which is one off his season high of nine set last week against Texas (10/12/13). He also had 1.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup

ERIC STRIKER
• LB Eric Striker recorded the first sack of his career in the first quarter. He finished with six tackles, one off his career high set last week against Texas (10/12/13).

P.L. LINDLEY
• DE P.L. Lindley had five tackles to establish a career high. He had recorded two tackles on three previous occasions, most recently against Texas last week (10/12/13).
