Oklahoma Team Notes

Baylor evened its record with Oklahoma to 9-9 in games played in Waco, Texas. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 25-16.

Baylor's five straight wins against Oklahoma is its longest streak in the series. Oklahoma longest was 11 straight victories from the 1999 through 2003 seasons.

The game featured the Big 12's leading scorers in conference games - Baylor's Brittney Griner (24.4 points per game entering Saturday) and Oklahoma's Aaryn Ellenberg (21.2 points). Ellenberg scored a season-high 33 points and Griner fouled out after scoring 15 points.

Oklahoma shot a season low 27.7 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc. Eleven of Oklahoma's 20 field goals were from 3-point range.

Baylor's 60.3 percent shooting (35 of 58) was an Oklahoma opponent record.

The loss was Oklahoma's first on a Saturday this season. The Sooners were previously 6-0.

The Sooners dropped to 0-15 all-time versus the AP No. 1 ranked team.

Junior Guard Aaryn Ellenberg

Ellenberg scored 33 points, one shy of her career high.

With 1,468 career points scored, Ellenberg passed Etta Maytubby (1,451 points; 1993-96) for 12th on Oklahoma's career scoring list. She is 44 points from moving into the top 10.

Ellenberg scored 21 points in the first half versus Baylor. It was the eighth time in her career she scored 20 or more points in a half. Her career high was 25 in the second half versus Baylor on Feb. 2, 2011.

Junior Guard Morgan Hook

Hook recorded her 10th straight game with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. Hook has recorded 61 assists to just 30 turnovers in that span.

Senior Forward Joanna McFarland

McFarland matched a career high with 16 rebounds, grabbing a double-digit total for the ninth time this season.

McFarland added 12 points for her fifth double-double of the season. Four of those have come in Big 12 play.
