"Overall I was pleased that we made improvements from last week,"
head coach Mark Williams said. "We didn't get over the hump and catch Stanford
in a meet where there's a lot going on, but I'm pleased with how we handled
it. We meet Stanford again in the conference championship, so we're going to
have to get better to compete for a championship later in the year."

The third event for the Sooners was the parallel bars, where they recorded a

career high with a score of 14.600. Berardini scored a 14.350, while Ellsworth,
Sergey Resnick and Alec Robin scored a 14.250. Robin's score was a new career
high.
On high bar, Oklahoma posted a 71.750, and every Sooner gymnast recorded a season
