NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Athletics Marketing Department has a number of promotions planned this weekend as the 2012 Oklahoma soccer team (1-1) hosts Nicholls State (1-1) and Vanderbilt (1-0).

Friday's game is set for a 7 p.m. start time at John Crain Field and marks the first-ever meeting between the Sooners and Colonels. On Sunday, OU hosts Vanderbilt for the first time in a 1 p.m. showdown. The Commodores lead the series 1-0, after posting a 3-1 win in Nashville during the 2009 season.

This weekend marks the end of a four-game homestand for the Sooners, the longest of the season. OU has six home games remaining, including the next contest in Norman against Oklahoma State on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.

Season tickets are on sale now for purchase online and by phone (800-456-GoOU). Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens. Single-game tickets are also on sale and will also be available at the gate the day of the game.

OU Faculty and Staff Night - Friday, August 24 vs. Nicholls State at 7 p.m.
- First 250 fans receive Oklahoma soccer beach towels
- 250 free concession coupons for OU and OUHSC faculty and staff
- Free face painting for kids
- 100 free Sooner Nation hats for OU students
- Post-game autographs

Sunday, August 26 vs. Vanderbilt at 1 p.m.
- $.50 Hot Dogs and Cokes while supplies last
- 50 free Sooner Nation sweatpants for OU students
- 25 free Sooner Nation bags for OU students
- Halftime Prize Drawings (for OU Students), including an iPod Shuffle, Sooner Nation Prize Packs (10) and Sooner Nation Football Sideline Fan Experience (2)
- Post-game autographs
