NORMAN, Okla. -- No. 25 Oklahoma (36-21, 13-10 Big 12) continue the 2012 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship vs. No. 3 Baylor (42-12, 20-14) at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. The Sooners, seeded fourth, are 3-0 this year against the Bears, seeded first, after handing them their first three losses in conference play two weeks ago.

Below are five things to watch this week as the Sooners look to remain in the winners' bracket in the conference tournament.

1. Keep on Rolling
After the walk-off win over Oklahoma State on Wednesday, the Sooners have won 21 of the last 28 games and have 36 wins on the season. It appears Oklahoma is playing its best baseball down the stretch as it looks to continue the quest for the program's second Big 12 Championship and first since 1997.

2. Topping the Bears in the Big 12 Tournament
While the Sooners went 3-0 against the Bears in 2012, Oklahoma is 0-3 when facing Baylor in the Big 12 Championship. They last faced off in 2010 and the Bears recorded an 8-3 win. In 2007, Baylor topped Oklahoma 7-6 and in 2004, the Bears won 14-4 in seven innings.

3. More Solid Pitching
Wednesday was another key example of why OU has finished the season off so strong. Overton's 7 1/3 shutout innings marked the fifth straight start by a Sooner pitcher of at least six innings. In those starts, the Sooners have allowed just four earned runs in 35 1/3 innings (1.02 ERA). Jordan John will get the nod on Thursday for OU. In his last start against Baylor, the lefty lasted 8 2/3 innings in the series opener with zero earned runs and five strikeouts (no-decision). RHP Trent Blank will start opposite John and he too had a solid outing two weeks ago in Norman. Blank took the loss in game two but lasted eight innings with two runs allowed (one earned) off six hits and zero walks.
