Friday's Game Postponed; Doubleheader Saturday

NORMAN, Okla. – Game one of the series between Oklahoma and No. 2 Baylor has been postponed on Friday due to inclement weather in the Norman area. 

The Sooners and Bears will start the series with a doubleheader on Saturday at 2 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park and the contest will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net.  Game two on Saturday will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.  

Tickets purchased for Friday's game can be presented at the gate and used at both games on Saturday.

Both games on Saturday, as well as the finale on Sunday at 1 p.m., will be broadcast on the Sooner Sports Network KREF 1400 AM with Toby Rowland on the call.  Sunday's 1 p.m. game will be televised on the Sooner Sports Network on Cox Ch. 3/703 HD in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.  The game can also be seen nationally on Fox College Sports.

The “Sooners for a Cure” night, which was planned for Friday night, will take place on Saturday for the 2 p.m. game.   The cause is an initiative by Oklahoma coaches and student-athletes to show their support in the fight against cancer. All student-athletes, coaches and staff in attendance will wear a powder blue or pink t-shirt to wear during a pregame ceremony to show their support in the Athletics Department's fight against cancer. The group will also participate in the a pitch ceremony.  Fans are encouraged to wear powder blue or pink in support of the cause and the first 250 people in attendance will receive a "Sooners for a Cure" wristband.

The first 1,000 fans on Saturday will also receive a free OU Baseball hat designed by head coach Sunny Golloway.

In addition, the free baseball clinic scheduled for Saturday at 9:15 a.m. has been cancelled.
