NORMAN, Okla. -- No. 5 Oklahoma fell at home for the first time of the 2012 season Friday night as Texas Tech squeezed out a 5-4 win to snap OU's 13-game home winning streak. The Sooners fell to 31-5 on the year and 7-2 in the Big 12 while Texas Tech improved to 31-8 and 4-3 on the year. The win ties up the three-game series at one game apiece after OU won Thursday night's match up 3-1 and set's up Saturday's rubber game at 12 p.m.

Keilani Ricketts got the start for Oklahoma going four and two-thirds innings before being replaced by Michelle Gascoigne who took her first loss of the season to drop to 12-1. Ricketts gave up six hits and four runs, two earned, while walking one and striking out six. Gascoigne gave up two hits in two and one-third innings while giving up one run and striking out five of the nine batters she faced. Cara Custer picked up the win for the Red Raiders to move to 18-5.

For the second straight night, Texas Tech got on the board in the first inning, this time scoring two runs as opposed to the one Thursday night. Logan Hall reached first on walk before advancing to second on a wild pitch and third off a Sandy James single. A ground out RBI to short from Adriana Perez scored Hall before an Emily Bledsoe triple drove in Tech's second run of the inning.

Oklahoma cut the Tech lead in half in the bottom of the third when sophomore Javen Henson sent her fifth home run of the season over the left field fence of Marita Hynes Field. With the solo shot, Henson became the fifth Sooner this season with at least five home runs.

The Red Raiders struck for two runs again in the fifth as an Oklahoma throwing error allowed Ashley Hamada reach first base and Tech to score two unearned runs. A Mikey Kenney single up the middle put Tech runners on the corners before a blooper from Hall over the head of OU third baseman Lauren Chamberlain sent Hamada home. A James' single to the pitcher's circle loaded the bases for Tech before a sacrifice fly to right field from Perez brought home Kenney for Tech's fourth run of the game.

Oklahoma tied things up in the sixth with three runs as back-to-back singles from Destinee Martinez and Chamberlain started the inning before a fielder's choice that saw Chamberlain thrown out at second and Ricketts reach first put Oklahoma runners on the corners with one out. A second fielder's choice sent Martinez home for a second OU run while Ricketts was thrown out at second and Shults reached first.

A two-out error from shortstop Raven Richardson allowed Georgia Casey to reach first and Shults third before Brittany Williams walked to load the bases. A Brianna Turang single down the left side line sent Shults and Casey around to home and tie the game up for the Sooners.

Oklahoma miscues in the top of the seventh resulted in Texas Tech's fifth and final run when Cydney Allen reached on a single to left center before being replaced on the base path by Hamada. A wild pitch allowed Hamada to reach second before she stole third and scored on a throwing error when a Shults throw from behind the plate sailed into left field.

Oklahoma and Texas Tech close out the three-game series on Saturday at 12 p.m. Saturday is Kirsten Allen senior day with Kirsten Allen posters for the first 250 fans and Strike Out Bullying Day with free t-shirts for the first 100 students in attendance.
