Polls Closed: Top-10 Plays of 2012

NORMAN, Okla. -- Last week, we asked Sooner fans to vote on their favorite offensive and defensive plays from the Oklahoma football team's 2012 regular season. The polls closed Sunday and the Top-10 results are in for each, with a few surprises sprinkled throughout.
 
 
Watch the videos below to see if your choices agreed with those of the Sooner Nation and follow the links above to check out individual clips, which include in-depth descriptions. Head coach Bob Stoops, senior quarterback Landry Jones and senior defensive end David King will speak to the media Tuesday beginning at 11:15 a.m CT. Live coverage will be provided on SoonerSports.com.
 
  Top-10 Offensive Plays

The Sooners certainly didn't suffer from a shortage of highlight-reel plays on offense, with spectacular options from all 12 games. Bedlam was responsible for 40 percent of our Top-10 countdown on offense, but you'll have to watch the video below to see which play Sooner fans enjoyed the most:
 

 
  Top-10 Defensive Plays

The OU defense came up with critical stops down the stretch, a few of which are highlighted in our Top-10 defensive plays countdown. Aaron Colvin's flair while intercepting passes didn't hurt his chances of making a pair of appearances, either. But the Sooner Nation's No. 1 defensive play of 2012 was a collective effort:
