OU No. 1 in Coaches Poll, No. 2 Media

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma held on to its No. 1 ranking in the Coaches Poll but fell to No. 2 behind LSU in the latest AP Poll released Sunday afternoon.
 
The Sooners (3-0, 1-0 Big 12) defeated Missouri (2-2, 0-1 Big 12), 38-28, in the conference opener for both schools Saturday night at Owen Field in Norman.
 
OU garnered 32 first-place votes from the coaches while No. 2 LSU had 20 and No. 3 Alabama seven. Ranked opponents on OU's upcoming schedule included Oklahoma State (No. 6), Texas A&M (No. 13), Baylor (No. 16) and Texas (No. 17). Kansas State and Texas Tech received votes.
 
In the AP, upcoming ranked opponents included No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 14 Texas A&M, No. 15 Baylor and No. 17 Texas. Iowa State, Kansas State and Missouri received votes.
 
Oklahoma next hosts Ball State Saturday at 6 p.m. in Norman. The game will be pay-per-view with complete details to be released on SoonerSports.com.
