Volleyball Scheduled to Appear on ESPNU

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma volleyball team is scheduled to appear on national television at home twice this year, ESPNU announced this week. The Sooners host Texas on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. CT and Iowa State on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. CT.
    
Season tickets for the 2011 volleyball season are on sale now, through the University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office. Fans can order season tickets online or by calling (405) 325-2424 or (800) 456-GOOU.

Oklahoma returns 12 letterwinners from last season's 23-11 team that finished third in the Big 12 (13-7) and advanced to the NCAA Championship third round. The Sooners return five position starters and libero and welcome five newcomers.

The Sooners open the 2011 campaign at home Aug. 26-27 with the Nike Invitational.
