Oklahoma advanced to the second round and will play (3) Miami Tuesday at approximately 6 p.m. Central, televised on ESPN2.

Oklahoma is now 26-13 all-time in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. The Sooners are 11-2 in the first round and 8-3 in the second round. OU is 24-8 when playing against a higher-seeded team and 2-5 when playing a lower seed, which it will do Tuesday against 3-seed Miami in the second round.

OU has played in 12 consecutive NCAA Championships, the eighth longest active streak, and has advanced to the second round in six consecutive seasons.

OU improved its series record against James Madison to 2-0. The Sooners are 1-2 all-time versus Miami with each team winning on its home court. OU and Miami have not met since the Hurricanes won 62-60 on Dec. 19, 1998.

Oklahoma entered the NCAA Championship with an 8-8 record against the 10 opponents selected to the 64-team NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. After Monday, only four of those teams remained with Oklahoma 0-7 this season against those teams.

Oklahoma's six blocks was its second highest total of the season behind eight against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 29. OU's 49 rebounds was its third highest total of the year behind 50 versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff and 58 against Sam Houston State on Dec. 1.

Whitney Hand
Hand matched her career high with 24 points. The redshirt-sophomore was 8-of-14 from the field and 6-of-8 from the free throw line in 38 minutes.

Danielle Robinson
Robinson scored 19 points for a career total of 2,104 and is now 21 shy of LaNeisha Caufield for fourth on OU's career scoring list.

Robinson has 115 double-figure scoring games, second at OU only to Courtney Paris, who had 134.

Robinson made her 138th consecutive start in her 139th game Sunday, leaving her one start and game played shy of Caton Hill for both the Big 12 Conference and Oklahoma program records.

Robinson now needs just one free throw to reach 500 for her career and one field goal for 800.

Aaryn Ellenberg
Ellenberg made two 3-pointers to set an OU single-season record of 89, passing Erin Higgins, who had 88 in 2005-06.

Joanna McFarland
McFarland came off the bench to score 10 points and match a career high with 15 rebounds. It was McFarland's third double-double and first since Dec. 8, 2010.
