Dunn Named Big 12 Rookie of the Week

NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma freshman Tara Dunn has been named the Big 12 Rookie of the Week the conference office announced today. The honor is the second this year for the Poth, Texas, native who previously earned the honor on Oct. 24.

Dunn registered her eighth double-double of the year with a team-best 18 kills and 10 digs in a four-set loss to No. 12 Iowa State. Dunn averaged 4.50 kills per set and 2.50 digs per set on the week. She added one block assist for a team-best 18.5 points, a 4.63 points per set average.

The outing marked Dunn's sixth match with 15 or more kills this year and it was her third highest kill total in a single match this season.
