Bennie Owen's undefeated 1915 Sooners traveled to Manhattan, Kan., to play the Kansas State Aggies and prevailed with a 21-7 victory. The Aggies were prepared for Owen's innovative passing game, but the OU coach instead employed a series of open formations and trick running plays to keep the home team off balance.

 Win:  100th
 Overall Game:  147th
 Record:  100-37-10
 Date:  Friday, November 19, 1915
 Location:  Manhattan, Kan.
Score:  Oklahoma 21, Kansas State 7
 Head Coach:  Bennie Owen
Kansas State opened the scoring in the first quarter when an Oklahoma fumble was returned 56 yards for a touchdown. The Sooners' powerful ground game took over in the second quarter as halfbacks Howard McCasland and Monford "Hap" Johnson both scored touchdowns.

Willis "Big Hott" Hott, a 210-pound fullback from Wakita, Okla., scored the final Sooner TD late in the third quarter to cap Oklahoma's 14th straight victory.

The game was played on a Friday, but it did not mark the end of the road trip. The following day, Owen took the entire squad 112 miles north to Lincoln, Neb., to see the undefeated and Missouri Valley Champions, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, trample the Iowa Hawkeyes 52-7.

While in Lincoln, Owen tried to negotiate a contest between the two undefeated teams for Dec. 4, but the game could not be arranged because Missouri Valley Conference rules did not permit post-season competition.

800 Wins GearThe Sooners finished a perfect season and the Southwest Conference championship on Thanksgiving Day with a 26-7 victory over the Oklahoma State Aggies in a game played in Oklahoma City's Fair Park in front of a then-record crowd of 7,000.

The 10-0-0, 1915, squad, shut-out five of its ten opponents and outscored their opponents 370-54. Amazingly of the five opponents that did score against the Sooners, all five opponents scored first in their contest against the Sooners giving Owen's squad five come from behind victories.
