Pictures of legendary Oklahoma Football Coach Bud Wilkinson have long appeared in books, magazines, on web sites and in many other places. A handful of images have been used repeatedly. The classic posed shot of Wilkinson donning the University of Oklahoma t-shirt is seared into the minds of most Sooner fans.

But Wilkinson was photographed many more times during his tenure at Oklahoma, often times in behind-the-scenes settings such as flying on a team plane, holding meetings or just completing day-to-day tasks. His file in the OU Archives is rich with pictures that show Wilkinson in less familiar settings.

Sooner Scrapbook is proud to make these photos available to Sooner fans. The hard copies were only recently scanned into a digital format. Some of the shots are identified, some are not. When possible, we have included the pertinent information relative to the picture. Other images may appears with less description.

Either way, this is a unique look at one of the greatest coaches in the history of college football.
