Women's Hoops to Play Four Times on FSN

Three Sooners Named All-Big 12

IRVING, Texas -- Three Sooners earned spots on the All-Big 12 Women's Basketball Team, announced Monday by the league.

Junior guard Danielle Robinson and senior forward Amanda Thompson received first-team honors in a vote of the conference's coaches. Junior forward/guard Nyeshia Stevenson was named to the second team.

Robinson, who was also a first team member in 2009, was a unanimous selection.

Robinson averaged 16.5 points and 5.3 assists through the regular season. Thompson averaged 12.8 points and 10.1 rebounds while totaling 11 double-doubles. Stevenson tallied 14.1 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Robinson also made the Big 12's All-Defensive team for the second consecutive season. The junior led the Sooners with 54 steals.

Nebraska head coach Connie Yori was named coach of the year and Nebraska senior forward Kelsey Griffin was voted player of the year.

Oklahoma meets the winner of sxith-seeded Baylor and 11th-seeded Colorado in the Big 12 Championship Friday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Muncipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
