NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma men's gymnastics team regained the top spot in the GymInfo poll released on Tuesday. OU vaulted to the No. 1 ranking after topping then-No. 8 Penn State last weekend.  The win was the Sooners' eighth over a top 10 opponent this season.

Oklahoma moves into the post-season play hosting the MPSF Conference Championship in Norman at McCasland Field House, April 3. The meet will feature four teams in the top 10 (No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 Stanford, No. 8 Cal, No. 10 Nebraska) and No. 12 Air Force.

This week's rankings mark the second time this season that OU has held the top spot.  The Sooners began the year ranked No. 4 in the preseason but was atop the list for one week (March 1).

During last Saturday's win over Penn State, OU finished with top scores on four out of the six team events, claiming event titles on floor (61.250), pommel horse (58.450), vault (64.500) and parallel bars (58.500).

Freshman Alex Naddour led Oklahoma with his first all-around title of the season after posting 87.600.
