NORMAN, Okla. -– A winter weather storm has canceled the remainder of the Oklahoma-Baylor series at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Game two of series was suspended on Friday night due to rain in the Norman area. Temperatures dropped into the 30s with snow on Saturday and Sunday.
The two were prepared to resume game two at 1 p.m. on Sunday with game three set to follow.
OU won game one of the series played Friday afternoon, 7-6, in the Big 12 opener for both teams. Games two and three will not be made up.
The Sooners trailed 5-0 in the bottom of the third of the second game and had Chris Ellison at first base with nobody out and Caleb Bushyhead at the plate as the game was halted at 7:41 p.m.

The No. 13 Sooners return to action on Friday, March 26 to begin a three-game conference series at Nebraska. The series opener is set for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch at Hawks Field and will be followed by game two on Saturday at 2 p.m and game three on Sunday at 1 p.m.
