OU has been ranked No. 1 in each of the last six seasons and in eight out of Mark Williams' 10 years at the helm.
The Sooners vaulted to the No. 1 spot after improving to 8-0 on the season with an impressive win against No. 6 Minnesota and the Texas All-Stars last weekend.
