NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 3 Oklahoma men's gymnastics team recorded its third win over a top 10 opponent and kept its undefeated streak alive in dominating fashion against No. 9 Nebraska on Saturday night in front of 723 fans at Howard McCasland Field House.

OU (6-0 overall, 3-0 MPSF) posted its highest team total of the season (356.500) en route to its second victory over the Huskers (335.450) in 2010.

The meet was highlighted by freshman Alex Naddour breaking the school record on pommel horse with a 15.400, a mark he previously set earlier in the year (15.200), and junior Bobby Shortle setting a career high on vault with a 16.200.

"I saw the spark in this team that I did not see in the previous meets," said head coach Mark Williams. "It really gives us a lot of energy going into the last half of the season knowing that we have a team that could go out and win a National Championship."

The Sooners swept the team portion of the meet with wins on floor (60.850), pommel horse (57.850), rings (60.250), vault (63.800), parallel bars (56.000) and high bar (56.900).

"I saw that we were better in places that we need to be and saw the energy from the team," added Williams. "The guys are putting things to together well and this gives us momentum going into No. 1 Michigan next weekend."

In addition, Oklahoma swept each of the individual events for the third time this year with five different gymnasts claiming titles, while Ian Jackson (84.250) claimed the all-around title. Steven Legendre led the Sooners with two event victories (parallel bars and high bar).

"We came out strong and overall did a better job," said senior co-captain Corey English. "WE know we can do it now, it is just all about putting it together for the National Championships."

Next up, Oklahoma travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., to compete against top-ranked Michigan on, Feb. 20.
