LAS VEGAS -- Five Sooners advanced to the semifinals of the Cliff Keen Invitational Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Consolation action begins Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT, with semifinal action set to begin at 12 CT.

Oklahoma currently stands in second-place with 74.5 points; trailing No. 1 Cornell with 78.5 points. Rounding out the top-five are Boise State (67), Michigan (59.5) and Wisconsin (55.5).

Sooners competing in Championship semifinal action tomorrow after posting 3-0 records on the day include: Jarrod Patterson (125 pounds), Zack Bailey (141), Tyler Caldwell (174), Erich Schmidtke (184) and Nathan Fernandez (HWT). OU's five Sooners competing in the Championship semifinals is the most of any team competing. Cornell and Boise State each have four remaining.

Caldwell and Schmidtke each took out the No. 4 seeds in quarterfinal action. Caldwell defeated Oregon State's Colby Covington, 6-0, while Schmidtke handled Luke Rebertus of Navy, 7-2.

Chase Nelson (165) remains the lone Sooner in consolation competition after going 3-1 and defeating Ohio State's Jared Kusar, 9-5.

Jordan Keller (133), Nick Lester (149), Matt Lester (157) and Keldrick Hall (197) were each eliminated from play after collecting two losses.
