November 22, 2010 | Football

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma's Ryan Broyles has been named one of three finalists for the 2010 Biletnikoff Award, which is presented annually to the top receiver in college football.

The other finalists are Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon and South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery.

Broyles, a junior from Norman, Okla., is already Oklahoma's career leader in receptions (241) and touchdown catches (33). He also holds school marks for reception in a game and season and is threatening Mark Clayton's OU records in receiving yards in a game and career.

In 2010, Broyles has 106 catches for 1,309 yards and 12 touchdowns. He leads the nation with 9.6 receptions per game and ranks No. 3 in yards per game at 119.0.

By virtue of reaching the finals, Broyles will be invited to The Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards show on Dec. 9. The show airs at 6 p.m., Central on ESPN. The winner will be announced during that telecast.
