November 15, 2010 | Football

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma's record-setting Ryan Broyles has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, which is presented annually to the top receiver in college football.  The Tallahassee Quarterback Club made the announcement today.

Broyles has broken or tied six OU records this season.  He has the most receptions ever by a Sooner in one season at 94 and has set career marks for receptions (229) and touchdown receptions (32).  Earlier this season he broke his own school record for receptions in a game with 15 against Iowa State.

He also has tied Mark Clayton's Oklahoma records for 100-yard receiving games in a season and career with eight and 15, respectively.

He currently leads the nation in receptions per game at 9.4.  He's No. 3 in receiving yards per game at 119.6 and No. 4 in touchdown catches with 11.

The finalists for the Biletnikoff Award will be announced Nov. 22.  The winner will be announced as part of the Home Depot/ESPNU College Football Awards Show on Dec. 9.
