Oklahoma claimed a season-opening win on the road against Milwaukee, 76-59.  OU became 22-15 all-time in season openers and 11-4 under head coach Sherri Coale.

Nicole Griffin made her collegiate debut in her hometown of Milwaukee, checking in with just over two minutes to play in the second half.  Griffin made her two field goal attempts for four points.

OU's freshmen guards -- Aaryn Ellenberg (14), Morgan Hook (13) -- combined for 27 of OU's 76 points.

Preseason All-American Danielle Robinson nearly amassed a triple-double, leading the game in scoring (20 points), assists (11) and steals (8).  Robinson scored 16 of her 20 in the second half. Robinson was perfect, 4-of-4, from the free throw line and 8 of 14 from the field.

Robinson increased her mark as OU's all-time leader in double-digit assist games to eight in her career.
