Singh Finishes 11th at Commonwealth Games

NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma thrower K.P. Singh recently represented India in the hammer throw at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and came away with an 11th-place finish in the event, second best among his countrymen. The OU record holder and 2010 Big 12 champion in the event, Singh finished with a top throw of 200-1.00 (61.00).

Competing in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, India, Singh was just over 10 feet away from finishing first among athletes from India in the event as Chandrodaya Narayan Singh finished ninth overall with a throw of 210-7 (64.20). South Africa's Christiaan Harmse won the event with a top throw of 240-0 (73.15).
