NORMAN, Okla. -- University of Oklahoma head women's basketball coach Sherri Coale announced Friday the addition of a walk-on freshman for the spring semester.
Kodi Morrison, a 5-8 guard from Seminole, Okla., will be eligible to play beginning Saturday, Jan. 9, when Oklahoma hosts Texas Tech in its Big 12 opener.
Morrision was the Class B player of the year in 2009 and led Varnum High School to its first state championship title. Morrison scored over 2,400 points in her career, a figure that ranks among the top 10 all-time in Oklahoma prep history.
Morrison enrolled at OU in the fall of 2008 and is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in accounting.
