• The Sooners are 12-2 in Big 12 openers, all under head coach Sherri Coale.

• Oklahoma held two Texas Tech starters to zero field goals, Jordan Murphree, who was 0-for-8, and Monique Smalls, who was 0-for-2.  Murphree entered the game as Tech's second leading scorer, averaging 12.1 points.

Kodi Morrison
• Kodi Morrison, a walk-on freshman from Seminole, Okla., dressed for the game, wearing number 31.  Morrison was the 2009 Class B player of the Year in Oklahoma after leading Varnum High School to a state championship last year.  She scored over 2,400 points in her prep career, among the top 10 all-time in Oklahoma.

Nyeshia Stevenson
• Nyeshia Stevenson had her first career double-double after scoring 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.

• Stevenson recorded her first block of the season.  She has 12 in her career

Amanda Thompson
• Amanda Thompson led the team in scoring with 17 points, shooting 7-of-12 from the field.

• Thompson also led the team in assists (6) and steals (3).
