IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma's Amanda Thompson shared Big 12 Player of the Week honors with Nebraska's Kelsey Griffin, the conference office announced Monday.

Thompson had her second double-double of the season as she scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in OU's loss at No. 4 Tennessee Sunday, Jan. 3.  Thompson was 10-of-13 from the field, including a 3-of-3 performance from beyond the arc, and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

Against Cal State Fullerton on Dec. 30, Thompson scored 12 points and had nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals, leading the Sooners to a 95-76 victory over the Titans.

For the week, Thompson averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and a 68.2 field goal percentage.

Thompson also had two blocks, giving her 102 for her career that ranks fourth all-time at OU.  Thompson is the only Sooner in history under 6-foot-2 to record 30 or more blocks in a season, a feat accomplished the past two seasons.

Thompson is the Big 12's second leading rebounder, totaling 9.5 per game.

Baylor's Britney Griner was the freshman of the week.
