NORMAN, Okla. -- The OU baseball team concluded team practices in the fall during the second week of November with the annual Red/White Series.
In preparation for the 2010 season, SoonerSports.com will help fans get to know the numerous new faces around the diamond at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
Throughout the three months leading up to the season, SoonerSports.com will feature one of the Sooners' 19 newcomers that will join a group of 17 letterwinners from the 2009 team that hosted the Norman Regional with the No. 7 national seed.
Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and videos of each player in action from the Red/White Series and a scouting report from OU Head Coach Sunny Golloway.
The 16th installment focuses on junior hurler Bobby Shore from Oceanside, Calif. Shore spend the last two years at Palomar Junior College where he was named a first team Southern California All-American second team ABCA All-American in 2009. The right-hander was 11-1 with a 2.40 ERA and 91 strikeouts (25 walks) in 97 2/3 innings. His team won the 2009 conference title and finished sixth in the nation (No. 1 in Southern California).
