NORMAN, Okla. -- Throughout the summer, SoonerSports.com will bring fans weekly updates of current Sooners competing in the numerous summer baseball leagues around the country. Fans can also access information on former Sooners playing in Major League Baseball and its minor league affiliates.

The fifth installment, along with links to each of the players' statistics, are listed below:

SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE
Two Sooners, Tyler Ogle (McKinney Marshals) and Kennedy Winn (Brazos Valley Bombers), recently wrapped up their summer seasons as the Texas Collegiate League Championship Series gets underway. 
 
Ogle finished fourth on the team with a .295 batting average through 35 games played. He drove in 33 hits along with seven doubles, two homeruns and 11 RBIs.  On the summer Ogle was also walked 17 times and had three stolen bases.

During Winn's 2009 summer league campaign, he started seven out of eight games pitched and posted a winning record of 2-0. Throughout the summer, he tossed 37.2 innings and recorded an ERA of 4.54. Winn allowed zero homeruns against him while walking 23 batters and striking out 26.

OKLAHOMA IN THE MINORS
Aaron Baker has sparked the offense for the State College Spikes (Pittsburgh Pirates - Class A) in his last 10 games. Hitting safely in six of those contests, Baker has collected nine hits along with seven RBIs. Adding to this collection, he posted five doubles, one single, one homer, and was walked nine times during the streak.

Russ Ortiz signed with the New York Yankees last week and is now playing for their Triple-A affiliate the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees.

SOONERS IN THE MAJORS
On August 11, the battle of two former Sooners incurred as Reggie Willits (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) drove in two runs in a 6-0 victory over Jason Bartlett and the Tampa Bay Rays. Willits is hitting .219 through 32 games this season, while Bartlett has hit consistently around .336 for the Rays this year in 92 games.
