NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma men's gymnastics 2010 signees Alex Naddour (USA Flairs), Jake Dalton (Gymnastics Nevada) and Chris Stehl (Cypress Academy) finished in the top five at the 2009 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 10.
The three future Sooners claimed four individual titles on the night. Dalton finished first on floor (15.000), vault (16.800) and high bar (14.700), as Naddour finished first on pommel horse (15.350) and the all-around (178.100).
Naddour was named the all-around champion for the competition, scoring a combined score of 178.100 to take the top spot. Alex Naddour scored an 89.350 on the first night and posted a 88.750 on the second night for the victory. Alex will join his brother Anthony at Oklahoma in the fall.
After stronger scores in the final night of competition, Dalton finished second in the weekend competition and recorded a two-day total of 177.250. The Sparks, Nev., native posted an all-around score of 89.200 on the final night to improve his average.
