NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 13 Sooner baseball team and the OU Athletics Marketing Department have a number of promotions planned for this weekend's series.  The three-game set against No. 16 Texas A&M marks the final three games of the 2009 regular season.

The Sooners and Aggies are tied for fourth place in the Big 12 standings and are fighting for the potential No. 2 seed in next week's 2009 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. 

The series begins on Friday at L. Dale Mitchell Park at 6:30 p.m.  Game two on Saturday is also slated for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch and the series will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m.

FRIDAY, MAY 15 - 6:30 p.m.
Friday is Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Day, The first 1000 fans will receive a free set of OU Baseball Trading Cards, and a special pre-game presentation will honor Mitchell Whitaker, a special friend of the OU Baseball Team.  Power Roofing will present a check to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of Mitchell - $50 for each home run the Sooners have hit this season.  There will be fireworks following OU scores.

SATURDAY, MAY 16 - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday is Pack the Park Night and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free OU Baseball T-shirt.  There will be fireworks following OU scores, and the Sooners will sign autographs following the game (weather permitting).

SUNDAY, MAY 17 - 1 p.m.
Sunday is Senior Day: OU Seniors will be honored at the game. The first 500 fans will get OU poms.  Sunday is also Sooner Kids Club Day (rescheduled from 5/3); a special gift will be given to all Sooner Kids Club members in attendance; Kids are invited to run the bases and play catch in the outfield following the game (weather permitting).  
 
TICKETS
Seats remain for the Texas A&M series and gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.Tickets are available at the gate, online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU.  The office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on the plaza level of the Asp Avenue parking garage.

Discounted tickets for groups of ten or more people are available for just $4 each (with one $5 processing fee on the order) and can be ordered by calling Tim George at (405) 325-8448. The $4 ticket price is $1 off the regular youth price and $4 off the regular adult price.

This weekend's games will be available on the Sooner Sports Network (KOKC 1520 AM) with Chuck Kelly calling and DeWayne Vaughn providing the on-air talent.
