NORMAN, Okla. -- The No. 15 Sooners had no trouble against Houston Baptist on Tuesday in recording a 10-1 victory in game one of a doubleheader at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

The visiting Huskies took an early 1-0 lead on Tuesday with Beau Warren's RBI single in the first, but the Sooners came back with eight unanswered runs.

The Sooners have won seven straight games and improved to 14-3 with the win.  OU has won nine of the last 10 games while the Huskies dropped to 0-12.

Garrett Buechele (3-for-4, two RBIs), J.T. Wise (2-for-3, three RBIs) and Kaleb Herren (3-for-3, RBI) led the OU offense to 13 hits.  The Sooners have connected for 10 or more hits in 12 of their 17 games this season and scored double digit runs in eight contests.

After three scoreless at-bats, the Sooner offense awoke in the bottom of the fourth and batted through the lineup for the 10th time this season.  OU plated four runs off five hits and an error in the frame, highlighted by Buechele's RBI triple and Wise's RBI double.

The Huskies committed their second error of the game in the fifth inning and the Sooners capitalized again with J.T. Wise's two-run homer.  The homer, Wise's fourth of the season, gave OU a 6-1 lead that it would not relinquish thanks to Michael Rocha's complete game.

Rocha improved to 2-1 with one run allowed, unearned, off five hits and three walks.  Rocha also struck out seven batters and tied a career high.  The complete game was the second of Rocha's career.  The sophomore also went the distance in 2008 with a two-hit shutout against Tennessee.

Houston Baptist starter Keith Brunson dropped to 0-2 after surrendering six runs, all unearned thanks to six errors in the game, off nine hits and a walk in five innings.

After Tuesday's doubleheader, Oklahoma travels to Tampa, Fla., this weekend to play in the USF Bulls Baseball Classic. OU will begin the tournament on Friday with Bethune Cookman on the South Florida campus.  On Saturday, the Sooners will play the host Bulls before concluding the weekend with Eastern Illinois on Sunday.
