NORMAN, Okla. -- The OU baseball team concluded team practices in the fall during the second week of November with the annual Red/White Series.
In preparation for the 2010 season, SoonerSports.com will help fans get to know the numerous new faces around the diamond at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
Throughout the three months leading up to the season, SoonerSports.com will feature one of the Sooners' 19 newcomers that will join a group of 17 letterwinners from the 2009 team that hosted the Norman Regional with the No. 7 national seed.
Each spotlight will include an updated bio, Q&A session and videos of each player in action from the Red/White Series and a scouting report from OU Head Coach Sunny Golloway.
The fourth installment focuses on left-handed pitcher Anthony "Luis" Collazo from Howard College in Texas. Along with fellow Sooner teammate, Zach Neal, Howard finished the 2009 season with the NJCAA National Championship and a 63-1 record.
