Red/White Series Slated to Start Sunday

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma baseball will host the annual Red/White Series starting with game one on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The five-game series comes near the end of team practices this fall for the Sooners, which started on Sept. 21. The games are free and open to the public.
Sunday's game will feature the White Team led by senior captain Jeremy Erben and its game one starter, junior Zach Neal.
The Red Team, the visiting team on Sunday, is led by senior captian Ross Hubbard and it will start senior J.R. Robinson on the mound.
The schedule for the remainder of the games is listed below with game times to be announced later. All games are subject to change as weather permits.
Game 2: Red at White - Tuesday, Oct. 27 (time: TBA)
Game 3: White at Red - Wednesday, Oct. 28 (time: TBA)
Game 4: White at Red - Friday, Oct. 30 (time: TBA)
Game 5: White at Red - Sunday, Nov. 1 (time: TBA)
"We are excited to get started and see more of these players in action," said OU Head Coach Sunny Golloway. "The Red/White series is always exciting and highly competitive."
