NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said Thursday that Sooner defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger has elected to rehabilitate his injured left foot rather than undergo potentially season-ending surgery.
Granger incurred the injury during the Sept. 13 game at Washington.
Stoops added that Granger should be out of action three-four weeks, "and then we'll just see from there."
Granger, a junior from Dallas, was injured in the first half of the Washington game and did not return.
Thus far in 2008, Granger has been credited with six tackles, 1.5 for loss and one fumble recovery.
