NORMAN, Okla. -- Watch head coach Bob Stoops live at
12:05 p.m., during his weekly press conference available exclusively
at SoonerSports.com. The webcast is free but does require
fans to log in with a free account created via Oklahoma
All-Access.
The No. 4 Sooners kick off the 2008 season at 6 p.m., Saturday against Chattanooga. A limited number of tickets are still available. Purchase online or contact the OU Athletics Ticket Office by calling (800) 456-GOU.
The game will also be televised live on pay-per-view by Big 12 Special Order Sports, FSN Southwest's pay-per-view division.
The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised live on pay-per-view, giving fans the option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn't be able to see. Fans that purchase an All-Access monthly or annual membership receive OU's live game radio broadcast for Saturday's season opener with every snap of the game archived for later viewing. Although All-Access will have the live game audio, TV has exclusive rights to live video.
