NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooner football team held its annual media day on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. OU's players and coaches posed for a variety of photos and conducted interviews on Owen Field prior to heading down to the rugby fields for Meet the Sooners Day.

Stoops Boosts Marrow Donor Program
Coach Stoops was among 84 individuals who placed their names on the National Marrow Donor Program list during Media Day. He also met with Tallie Anderson, a 10-year-old Shawnee resident who has Aplastic anemia and is in critical need of a bone marrow transplant.
Sooners Welcome Special Olympians
Each year at Media Day, the Sooner football team welcomes members of the Special Olympics to Owen Field. The Special Olympians get the first crack at autographs and spend some exclusive time with their beloved team.
