NORMAN, Okla. -- U.S. Olympian Jonathan Horton and OU head coach Mark Williams met with members of the media on Thursday at the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.

Horton, Williams and the rest of the 2008 National Championship team recently visited the White House and President Bush at National Champions Day in Washington D.C. and returned Tuesday night.

Horton discussed his recent victory at the U.S. Olympic Trials and about his preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. 

The former Sooner will train in Norman before a 10-day session at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs on July 13.

After the training camp in Colorado, Horton, along with Coach Williams, Horton will depart for the Summer Games on July 29 with the rest of the U.S. Men's Gymnastics Team
