Reserve Seats Now for WBB Banquet

NORMAN, Okla. -- Sherri Coale and the University of Oklahoma women's basketball team invite Sooner fans to join them in celebration of the 2007-08 season at the team's annual postseason banquet Monday, April 28.

The festivities will take place at the U.S. Postal Service National Center for Employee Development at 2701 E. Imhoff Road in Norman. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program to begin at 7 p.m.

Seats are $40 for adults and $25 for children. Checks (please do not send cash) should be sent to:

Due to limited seating availability, checks must be received before seats can be reserved. Should registered fans be unable to attend the banquet for any reason, the cost will be considered a donation to Oklahoma Women's Basketball.

The Sooners posted their third straight season of 20-plus wins and made their ninth straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2008. OU was third nationally in average home attendance, with over 10,000 fans per game packing the Lloyd Noble Center.

OU boasts the 2008 Big 12 Player of the Year Courtney Paris, who also became the program's first three-time All-American this season, and Big 12 Freshman of the Year Danielle Robinson on its roster. All 12 members of the 2008 team will return next season.
