NORMAN, Okla. --The University of Oklahoma softball team has finalized its TV and radio broadcast schedule for the remainder of the 2008 regular season. The Sooners will appear on local television three times and will have nine radio broadcasts on KOKC 1520 AM.
The Sooners will open their TV schedule this Wednesday as they head to Stillwater for part one of the Ford Bedlam Series. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m. and will be televised live by Fox Sports Southwest (Cox 37 in OKC) throughout the state of Oklahoma as well as being televised nationally on FSSW as part of the sports package on DirecTV and dish network.
On Saturday, April 5, the Sooners will host Missouri at 12 p.m. and the game will be carried live on Cox Channel 2 in Oklahoma City and KQCW in Tulsa. In addition, the game will be shown in Woodward (KOMI), Ponca City (KOMI), Lawton (KSWX), Enid (KXOK) and will also be picked up by Metro Sports in Kansas City.
Oklahoma will conclude its regular season TV schedule on Wednesday, April 23 when it hosts the second part of the Ford Bedlam Series in Norman. The contest will be shown throughout the state of Oklahoma on Cox Channel 7 in Oklahoma City and Cox Channel 3 in Tulsa.
The Sooners will also have 12 radio broadcasts this season, including nine on KOKC 1520 AM. Brian Brinkley will handle the play-by-play duties and former Sooner All-American Norrelle Dickson will provide color analysis.
