FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- University of Oklahoma hurdler Sheldon Leith finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., as four Sooners competed in a field of the nation's best athletes at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Leith took sixth with a time of 7.97 in the event's finals. Drew Brunson of Florida State won the NCAA title with a time of 7.53.
Leith was the final qualifier for the finals, advancing with an eighth-place finish in the event's prelims with a time of 7.76.
Leslie Cole narrowly missed advancing to the finals in the women's 400-meter dash, finishing ninth with a time of 53.65. Kenyata Coleman of Mississippi was the last qualifier for the final with a time of 53.61.

Latoya Greaves finished 10th in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.22, just off a career best time of 8.21 set at the Big 12 Championships.
Marcus Pugh finished 15th in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 6.75.
Oklahoma jumpers Shardae Boutte and Tydree Lewis take aim at capturing OU's latest national title as the triple jump kicks off Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the second day of competition at the NCAA Championships. Boutte enters the contest as the nation's top-ranked triple jumper. Lewis is ranked eighth nationally.
