Robinson a Walter Camp All-American

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma offensive guard Duke Robinson was named to the 2008 Walter Camp All-America First Team during The Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards show Thursday night in Orlando, Fla.

The 6-5, 335-pound senior from Atlanta, Ga., has helped pave the way for one of the most prolific offenses in college football this season. The Sooners rank first nationally in total offense at 562.1 yards per game, and No. 19 in rushing offense at 205.5 yards per game.

2008 Walter Camp All-America Team | Oklahoma All-Americans

Robinson, who was a finalist for the 2008 Outland Trophy as the nation's most outstanding interior lineman, was a consensus All-American last season and is a two-time First Team All-Big 12 selection.

OU sophomore quarterback Sam Bradford and junior tight end Jermaine Gresham were named to the Walter Camp Second Team.

This is the 119th edition of the Walter Camp All-America team -- the nation's oldest All-America team. Twenty-five players are selected to the first team by the 119 Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches and sports information directors.

Members of the 2008 Walter Camp All-America team will be honored at the organization's national awards banquet on January 17, 2009 at the Yale University Commons in New Haven.
