NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford and cornerback Reggie Smith both captured Big 12 Player of the Week honors for their work last Saturday in OU's 51-13 win over Miami.

Bradford was the co-offensive player of the week in the conference, while Smith snared the same honor for defense.

Bradford shared the offensive honor with Baylor quarteback Blake Szymanski, who had six TD passes against Rice.

Bradford completed 19 of 25 passes for 205 yards in the Sooners' 51-13 win over Miami (Fla.). He has gone 40 of 48 for 568 yards with eight touchdowns and no interceptions through his first two games.

Bradford's scoring strikes against the Hurricanes were from 23, 24, 6, 30, and 9 yards.

Smith led an Oklahoma defensive effort that held Miami to 139 yards of offense. The Hurricanes were limited to 87 yards passing and 52 on the ground.

Smith helped OU take control of the game with a second-quarter 61-yard fumble return for touchdown and a 21-3 Oklahoma lead.
