NORMAN, Okla. -- Two members of the OU baseball team were named to the 2007 All-Big 12 Championship Team following the tournament on Sunday, May 27.  Outfielder/pitcher Joseph Hughes was selected along with third baseman Aaron Reza.

The Sooners won their first two games of the tourney with a pair of wins over top 25 teams.  Oklahoma opened the 2007 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship with a 7-2 win over No. 11 Missouri.  The Sooners followed that performance with a 9-8 victory over No. 21 Oklahoma State.  OU's run and bid for a Big 12 Championship was halted by Baylor in a 7-6 defeat on Saturday, May 28.

Hughes finished the tournament with a .667 batting average (6-for-9) and five RBIs, while also tossing four innings in a start against Missouri in the opener.
